Information for attending Flu Clinics during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Mallard Medial Practice
If you have a booked appointment at the surgery for your flu vaccination during the Covid-19 pandemic, here is some information which is important:
Please try not to arrive early or late for your appointment. We are trying to avoid any gatherings of patients if possible. The appointments are carefully timed so there is no congestion.
Wear suitable clothing like a short sleeve top, you may need to wait outside until we are ready for you. Please wear a mask for your protection and our staff’s protection.
There will be no option to sit down unless absolutely necessary. Please attend alone if possible.
Do not come to the surgery if you have any coronavirus symptoms including a new persistent cough, temperature or loss of taste or smell.
You should not have your vaccination if you are on antibiotics for an infection or on steroids, please reschedule your appointment if this is the case. Do not attend for your vaccination if you feel poorly either.
If you have an egg allergy please inform us as you will need a different vaccine to be ordered in for you.
